Coming from a publishing career background, I discovered a bit about Feng Shui 14 years ago when I was researching an article for a home interior magazine. The more I researched, the more I became captivated.

Fast forward to 2013, and I made the decision to leave full-time employment. I had achieved so much throughout my publishing career that I no longer felt challenged. Of course I needed income, so I started doing freelance and contract work. Working as a freelancer, my Feng Shui enthusiasm deepened four years ago when I was asked to do editing work in this field. I commenced studying locally, and learning more about it was immensely fascinating.

It was mid-2015, and although the work I was undertaking was making me enough money to support myself immediately, I felt I wasn’t secure with my long term financial goals. Something had to change, but I didn’t want to give up what I had. I loved the freedom it gave me; I loved that I was meeting new people all the time; and I loved all the new things I was learning. I knew that going back to work full-time in the publishing industry would help me secure my long term financial goals, but I would have to give up what I was doing. I had a really good think about it, and I asked the Universe to bring me the best thing for me.

Within about four weeks, I was given the opportunity to sell Feng Shui product symbolisation at a regular weekend spiritual fair, and I was also given the opportunity to do a Feng Shui home presentation. I agreed to do both, as something to do as a means of more income, whilst I was still figuring out what to do in the long term. I wasn’t aware at the time I was setting up a Feng Shui business for longevity.

A lot has happened in the past two years. I became a Professional Member of the AFSC. I attended workshops in Melbourne conducted by Joey Yap. I went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and studied Feng Shui with Lillian Too at her teaching institute. To say that going to KL and learning Feng Shui with Lillian was amazing, is an understatement. It was an immensely enriching experience in so many ways. This is where my real knowledge has now emanated from.

As for my business and myself today, I am going stronger than ever in all areas of my life. I have so many exciting things planned for my future, but above all, I love that I’m helping so many people enhance their lives for the better. I have a growing list of clients, and I get a lot of feedback continuously at how I have helped them.

Words cannot express my gratitude to the Universe. I guess the saying is true, “What’s meant to be, will be”.
